Geology Field Trip 2
(i decided it was far too long to be just 1 haha)
So we make it out onto the sand bar and look at these awesome interference waves (waves coming from two different directions making two sets of ripples at once). It was super cool, but high tide started coming in. The sand bar was slowly being washed over so we had to hurry off and try to make it to shore before it gets too high. No such luck. All...

Geologyy Field Trip 1
Thursday I went on a field trip to the Jersey Shore (weeeird right) for Geology. We were looking at the facies (area where sediments are deposited and have the potential to be come solidified and become rocks) of the beach, dunes, bay, and tidal flat.
